Manchester City’s crisis

After the 2 seasons ban Manchester City got from UEFA for participating in the Champions League, top European teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint-German are all after Manchester City stars.

Real Madrid are interested in the midfielder, Kevin de Brune and the right wing Raheem Sterling, for whom they are ready to offer $180milions. Los Blancos are desperate to sign a RW, as they can’t depend in the out of form Gareth Bale, an inexperienced Rodrygo or Lucas Vasquez.

Gareth Bale this season has played 18 matches (13 in La Liga, 3 in Champions League and 1 in Copa del Rey) and scoring only three goals and giving two assists.
With an average of 387 minutes per goal, which is pretty low considering a world class player like Bale and a team like Real Madrid.
That’s why Los Blancos are seriously considering to put the Welsh on market and sign a new right wing player, most likely Raheem Sterling .

Juventus are also interested in De Bruyne.
With the departure of Emre Can to Borussia Dortmund, a door has been opened for a new signing.
Juventus’ midfield needs some refreshments, with the midfield age average of 30, Juventus’d like to buy some new young players and their best option is Kevin de Bruyne (27). KDB would take a place in Sarri’s IX with no doubt, alongside with Pjanic and Bentacur/Matuidi.

Meanwhile Barcelona would like to enforce their defence with Fernandinho or Otamendi, and Sergio Agüero as a replacement for Luis Suarez.

The Luis Suarez’s injury could cost FC Barcelona big this time, maybe even the title. Barca’s new manager, Settien has already purchased the new striker as Luis Suarez’s replacement, Martin Braithwaite, but comparing to Sergi Aguero he would be a bencher.

Do not forget the chemistry between Leo Messi and Sergio Aguero who play together in the National team, Argentina.

But taking them from City is very tough but not impossible as their wage is quite high.
Sergi Agüero when he signed for Man. City in 2011,has declared he will never leave until he wins Champions League with the manchester team, so this year Champions League season is decisive for Agüero and most of the players.
Man. City will face Real Madrid in 26th of February in 1/8 of the finals and if they get disqualified, most likely Agüero’s adventure will end there.

Before the corona-virus break, Man. City had better odds for beating Real Madrid, because of the injury of Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, Marcelo Twelve, Mariano Diaz and the sanction of Sergio Ramos.
But looks like the Los Blancos profited from the COVID 19 outbreak, as all the league duties and all other competitions had been delayed for atleast two months till now.
With the Los Blancos captain, Sergio Ramos, sanction it is expected Zinedine Zidane to put Eder Militao at his place. Eder Militao has a lack of experience when it comes to Champions League, playing overall 11 matches (9 with FC Porto and 2 with Real Madrid).
Th COVID 19 outbreak helped Real Madrid injury list a lot, as they have returned to full training with the squad (except Luka Jovic) and waiting for Liga BBVA start which has been scheduled for 11th of June. Real Madrid will face Eibar on 14th of June.

Pep Guardiola is already feeling the pressure he has got from the Champions League ban.
Champions League is the best competition over the world and it would be a big loss for Manchester City for not being able not to attend the Champions League for two seasons.
Not just because the importance of the competition but also the risk for losing the players as they will not like to stay at a club and not being to win the most valuable trophy, Champions League trophy.
Pep Guardiola’s and Manchester City’s most wanted aim was to win the Champions League, keep in mind they reached the Champions League final in the 2017/18 season but not being able to beat Tottenham.

MANCHESTER CITY has some world class player that every team would go after, the only advantage Manchester City has are the high wages players get, so to be able to take a player from Man.City you would have to be tightly financially.

Manchester City’s race for Premier League title is almost over as they are 25 points behind the leaders, Liverpool FC with one match less. So they will do all in for the Champions League trophy, if they fail in CL too there when the problems come.

Pep Guardiola’s contract expires on 30th of May 2021 so it would be likely for Man. City to lose him to. Guardiola has been appointed as Manchester City manager on 1st of July 2016 and since then he has won eight titles of which two Premier League titles (17/18 season and 18/19 season), one FA Cup (18/19 season), three consecutive English Cups (17/18 season, 18/19 season and 18/19 season) and two English SuperCups (18/19 season and 19/20 season).
