Ezequiel D’Angelo has warned Lionel Messi against moving to Manchester City.
The Deportivo Moron player spent a month on trial at the Premier League club in 2011.
“It was a great experience,” D’Angelo told TT Sports.
“I’d been a professional for barely a year, I went for a week-long trial and ended up staying for a month.
“I had a great time. I have no regrets at not being able to stay.
“What stuck with me is that it rained there all month.
“[Manchester] is a cold city and the houses are all the same – it’s different to what we’re used to.
“I had the chance to go to Barcelona and they’re two very different cities.
“In terms of fans, they’re very respectful in England.
As well as a possible reunion with Pep Guardiola, Messi has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
“If he thinks that he’ll find happiness in England, then go, but he’s not going to like the weather,” D’Angelo added.
“It’d be better if he went to PSG and he’ll enjoy it a bit more with Neymar.”
